SUMMARY
Responsible for developing, nurturing and providing excellent service to guests and prospective guests; Ensure promotions and special events are executed efficiently and correctly; Works under the direction of the Marketing Manager and assess impact of promotional campaigns, special events and guest relations reports; Analyze and identify programs and activities that support and enhance customer loyalty; Ensure database integrity; runs W-9 reporting for guests when needed. Accountable for the accurate distribution of all promotional assets and strict adherence to the rules, regulations and policy and procedure that govern said promotions; and serve as the main point of contact for the Marketing Manager and General Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Coordinate the activities of marketing initiatives by providing superior guest service to casino guests. Service includes such activities as welcoming guests and providing all pertinent casino information including: entertainment options, facilities layout and services, and promotional programs.
- Plan and prepare to accommodate promotional programs.
- Review logistics and timelines of scheduled marketing events with the Marketing Manager. Assess outcomes and develop plans to improve performance for same or similar events.
- Implement Marketing concepts to enhance relationships with valued gaming guests and market the casino products to potential guests. Integrate a concierge approach to service, from initiating personalized invitations to events, arranging transportation to property, suggesting/booking accommodations at hotel, providing complimentary in accordance with guidelines.
- Act as M.C. at special events and promotions.
- Participate in formulating and administering long range marketing goals and objectives for the property to enhance customer play, increase property visits and generate new patrons.
- Communicate system problems or concerns regarding program management to IT, Operations and/or Marketing departments.
- Ensure compliance with gaming rules, regulations and internal controls.
- Performs additional job duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Associate Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field a plus.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in marketing, public relations or customer relations capacity. Preference for casino industry background, however other related public relations centered business experience will be considered.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Intermediate skill level with PC, using software such as Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, Peoplesoft, Player Tracking and business enterprise systems. Must possess above average oral and written communications; capacity for public speaking. Well developed interpersonal skills to present concepts, persuade and influence, positively interact with customers, dignitaries, employees, vendors and general public. Above average analytical abilities to construct, collect, evaluate and interpret databases on customer play, preferences, objective and subjective aspects of customer satisfaction, effectiveness of programs and marketing objectives.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Obtain/maintain Winnebago Tribal Commission Gaming License. Drivers license required.

Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, travel to off site venues, which may include inside or outside topography. Visual acuity to discern and examine text, graphics, color and symmetry. Speech to communicate clearly, express ideas and convey information in an understandable manner. Ability to hear for listening comprehension and to understand ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Routinely lift 30 pounds and may occasionally lift 30-70 pounds. Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and examine documents, records and files. Refer to Human Performance Evaluation for specific physical demands.
Mental
Social perceptiveness to assess and understand other’s reactions and behavior. Critical thinking to use logic and reasoning, reach conclusions/solutions. Environmental
Work in office and casino operations containing second hand smoke, high noise level and bright lights.
